NKTOBSB Still Has The Right Stuff

This summer two of the biggest boy bands of all time joined forces to help fans young and old relive the glory days of the boy band. These bands are the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys. The bands are also joined by American Idol favorite Jordin Sparks and up and comer Ashlyne Huff (through July 2nd) and Glee Star Matthew Morrison (July 3rd- the end of the tour).

From start to finish this show is one that is sure to keep you out of your seat and on your feet. Ashlyne Huff started the night at both my shows (Baltimore and DC) with her new dancey/pop off her brand new album Let It Out. Before you judge this young artist check out her talent for yourself.

Jordin Sparks follows Ashlyne and is good as always. Her voice is just as amazing and powerful as on tv. It's definitely good to see that all my phone votes went to good use.

Then there are the boys Jordan, Jonathan, Joey, Donnie, Danny, Nick, Brian, Howie, and AJ- the main events. While their music may be a guilty pleasure for many, the tour is more than that for most. For a girl who grew up on the Backstreet Boys seeing them live in person was like seeing a moment in time from my childhood. Other than a little wear and tear brought on with age, the boys and kids were exactly as I remembered them from my youth. All nine hung on every note perfectly and the choreography was as pristine and perfect as theirs had been decades ago.

Make sure to check out the NKOTBSB when it rolls into your town this summer. Check out NKOTBSB.com.

  1. It's amazing how popular these guys are after all these years. I keep seeing posts of people who are going to their contests.
