When I requested this book for review I was totally expecting some attractive looking, giant coffee table book with lots of pictures and not a lot of content. I expected to look at a bunch of cool pictures and maybe learn one or two cools facts that would otherwise have not crossed my path. What I got was something different.

This book is a well constructed, attractive coffee table book with great stories and history from one of America's favorite drinks. For its size this book is a pretty comprehensive collection of carefully researched information about every kind of whiskey you can imagine.

Not only is the text high quality, but also the overall visual representation of the book is divine. The coloring of the pages matches the concept of whiskey. The photos and images of different labels really add to the reading and learning experience to make the reading of this book not only fun, but also very educational.

Overall I really, thoroughly enjoyed this book. I've left it out in my den for guests to flip through while enjoying their own drinks.

I received this book curtesy of Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest review.
