Exclusive Interview with Ready Set Go!

These band members may look young, but what they lack in age they make up for in talent. Let me introduce you, Tune Into L readers, to your new favorite band. Check out siblings Sydney, Jamie, Noah, and Graham from California who make up the band Ready Set Go!

Q- What song of yours would you recommend to someone who hasn’t  listened to your music before?
A- Already Gone the new version or Breathe In  Breathe Out. It's hard because we have a bunch of brand new songs we can't  wait to show people.

Q- Do you write all your songs? Where do you get inspiration for the songs?A- Yes, we co-write some too with our producer.  Really anything can inspire a song, but mostly relationships, school, family  life and touring has brought alot of really cool experiences to write about.  We wrote a song 3,000 miles on tour.

Q- What has been your biggest  challenge so far as musicians?A- Probably finding the right venues to book the band in. We're all under 18 so it's crazy to find places that have all  ages.

Q- What do you hope you’re accomplishing musically is  doing/accomplishing in a year?A- To finish our own record, get a record deal,  tour and play at least 100 shows by New Years eve.

Q- What has been your  favorite show to play and why?A- Oh, that's a hard one to say. They've all been so different. Probably the tour we did in North Carolina at a bunch of  schools, the kids just completly flipped out. It was like they just really got the music. It was a huge bunch of moments for us as a band!

Q- How do  you get pumped up for a show?A- Lots of snacks, joke alot and we always say a  prayer

Q- What’s your favorite and least favorite thing about  performing?
A- Our favorite thing has to be connecting with fans at shows and doing this together as as family. It's really hard to explain the feeling, but doing a show with people that just get you like a family can and at the same time experiencing fans who are singing along and going crazy to music we've created  is just so cool! Least favorite part is always the load in and out...we  got a ton of gear and it's just really heavy and tiring...but we deal!

Q- Who is someone you would like to tour with?A- Taking Back Sunday or Switchfoot or Cobra Starship

Q- Out of all the  songs you've recorded/written which is your favorite?A- Tonight We're Making  History..it's a new one..it's so giant sounding.

Q- Do you have any advice for someone who wants to pursue a career in music?A- Just do it cause you love (it), write songs, share them with friends,  really
practice!

Q- What has been your weirdest experience with a fan?A- A girl on tour asked Jamie to sign his name on her face with permanant ink..Another girl asked Noah to sign her stomach..Sydney has a few over crazed fans that think they wanna marry her. Graham has had a bunch of young girls just scream like we've never heard before..lol..

Q- Who first  inspired you to go after your dreams of music?A- Our dad. he's our producer and a really great songwriter. There's always been music around the house all day, every day since we we're born. So it's just was always fun to jam, write songs, act crazy..

Q-What’s one quote or lyric that inspires you most in one of your songs?A- In a song of ours "meant to be" we have a lyric that says  'it's ok all of us are broken"..that really means tons to us because even though we get to do all these different things and tour and stuff, we're just like  everyone else, and everyone sometimes has it really hard. we really relate to  that and think our fans do to..

Q- What’s something your fans don’t know about you?A- We all play the drums.

Q- Upcoming plans in the works for  you we should know about?A- Can't share it yet...but good stuff is coming!!!!!!

Q-Anything else you’d like to include about your music?A- we love what we get to do!

Q- If you could have one super  power what superpower would you want?A- Jamie - reading people's minds
Noah  - flying for sure!
Graham - super strength
Sydney - flying too

Q- If you could live in any fast food restaurant what would it be and why?A- CHik-  fila..that stuff is amazing!!!!

Q- What drives you to keep pushing for more?A- The fans!
