Power Female Lead, Check. Awesome new album, Check. Fan of We Are the In Crowd, Check.

I've always been a big fan of We Are the In Crowd. Whenever there's a band in the scene that features a strong female in any way I tend to want to see what the band is all about and I try to support them as best as I can.

We Are the In Crowd is notorious for writing songs that promote being yourself, not changing who you are, and having a "big mouth" to speak for oneself. Their new album "Weird Kids" is no different from their previous albums' themes.

The lead single off the album titled "The Best Thing (That Never Happened)" is about a girl cutting ties with a guy she was never quite "good enough for" or that he was never quite good enough for her. The overall empowerment aspect of the track made this song an easy favorite for me. 

The band is currently on tour with William Beckett, Set It Off, State Champs, and Candy Hearts for their reunion tour before they head off on Warped Tour this summer. Check out the dates below and let me know what you think about WATIC and if you're seeing them on tour this Spring!
